Through collaborative sessions, participants mapped current and future competencies needed to support the rehabilitation and education of incarcerated individuals\u2014particularly those with trauma histories, substance use disorders, and complex behavioural needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop emphasized the importance of trauma-informed teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, soft skills development, and reintegration-focused education. Special attention was given to the differentiated training needs of younger and senior correctional professionals, as well as the role of innovative tools such as serious games.
