The CORE-ED Initiative

CORE-ED ACADEMY establishes a pioneering partnership between private and public higher education institutions, public authorities, civil society, and economic actors across Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, with the support of Romania and Greece!

This initiative addresses a culturally and historically relevant topic, uniting the partner countries in Balkans to enhance the preparation and competence of professionals dealing with minors and young offenders in contact with the law.

The project introduces innovative curricula in correctional pedagogy, bridging the gap between initial and continuous professional development, and promoting a ‘pedagogy-first’ approach.

The modular content and its implementation within the 4 Research Centres for Correctional Pedagogy we will establish is set up as an experimentation of the European Learning Mode.
